We had pâte, cheese, taboli, pasta salad and an assortment of meats. My date had two sandwiches made of pâte and I had the taboli. See all those lunches at La Madeleine instead of Chik-fil-a paid off:). Funny thing though, I sure could use some sweet tea with lemon! The world really should have more sweet tea and if accompanied by fried chicken all the better. We finished up with a tart of apples and pears. This is not the school lunch that I remember! Before I left I caught a couple of pictures of her in the courtyard. When I see her in this setting it makes me happy, proud and sad all at the same time. I found her by herself just watching.
When I asked her why she was not playing with the other girls she said, "I don't like that chase game". Well there you have it. I love that she knows what she wants, and at the same time I wish she was more comfortable just joining another play group. But, that is not her. She is my observer. She is a happy observer at that.

That is a great picture of the you two. Tell her I am sorry I was not able to attend, but I am sure it was fun.
Lunch at Miss Jays school is different than the school lunch here! I think that is what I miss most about Paris, the food. Love to all 16 days of school left here :( My baby will be in middle school the. I am sad!
