City Life

I love the thought of snow.
Sitting by a warm fire, sipping mulled wine, wrapped in a blanket and reading a book. Sounds good doesn't it?
So, when it started snowing, very wet snow in Paris yesterday I tried not to be in a bad mood. I tried singing Winter Wonderland in my head just to try and turn the bad mood around.
Sadly, it did not work.
Pushing a stroller through through the streets of Paris back from school, to the doctors office (two bus changes, croup and an ear infection later) and then back to pick up Jaylee from school (3 bus changes and fifteen minutes late!!!!). Thank heavens Tim and Vanessa, another set of parents at Jaylee's school, sat with Jaylee while I ran the streets trying to get there. Upon my arrival I told Tim, "If you weren't a preacher I would say many curse words right now." He laughed and ever so nicely drove us home. So this is what your pants look like when you are not sitting by the fire sipping mulled wine.
You didn't think I was going to show you my wet hat head did you?

I Believe in wine after days like these.

I believe wet jeans call for a shopping spree.....and maybe some Burberry rain boots or some other cool French designer snow/rain boots.

I agree with Sari...surely there is something adorable that you could find ;-)

When I was a kid my mom made me wear galoshes...total dork...then I walked to work in the rain one day and ruined my cute new pumps...but I never could find a cute solution...but I was not in Paris!

Stay warm.

Love ya
