We had to go cold turkey on the pull ups. They work for some kids. They worked for Jaylee. They did not work for Aidan. He did not FEEL any wetness. So, after about a week of that and way too many Euros, we went cold turkey. Thank goodness I saved those plastic underwear from training Jaylee! You put regular underwear on them and then plastic bloomers on top and they FEEL the wetness and the poopness and your floors stay clean! Not to mention the car seat, um, I mean the stroller.
Ready for the best part?
On day three of underwear, he refused to put the pull up on at night. Okay, so worst thing that could happen I would have to do an extra load of laundry. Nope. 3 am, I see his little face on the side of the bed, "pee, pee". Peed in the toilet, back to bed. 5 am, his face at the side of the bed again, "pee, pee". Peed in the toilet again. Every night since this night he has woken me at 5:30 to 5:33 to use the restroom. Amazing!!! However, straight back to our bed, details, details, we will work on that later. I totally misjudged him! The other kicker? We bought one prize, a lego car that he picked out and that was it! No candy on the toilet, no cheerios, none of it. We read a LOT of books on the bathroom floor, but that's it.
One more good thing about boys
That is the Eiffel Tower park, take that Ozzy Osbourne!
Another proud moment
once we found a great school he finished with ease and happiness! That 2024 just freaks me out.
Way to go baby boy!!!!
